Partner Agreement
Version 2026-10-03 ยท Effective 3 October 2026
This agreement applies to every business and organisation that lists on Zim Voyage - hotels, lodges, tour and safari operators, guides, museums, national parks, restaurants, attractions, transport companies and travel agents ("you" or "the partner"). It applies in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You accept it when you submit a partner application.
Contents
13. Verification
We review every application before a partner is approved. You must give true, complete business details, including your registration number and - for accommodation, tours, guiding, transport and travel agencies - your Zimbabwe Tourism Authority registration or licence number as required by the Tourism Act [Chapter 14:20].
We may ask for supporting documents (such as your certificate of incorporation, ZTA certificate, operating licences or proof of address) and may decline or later suspend a partner whose details cannot be verified.
13. Your listings
Everything you publish must be accurate and not misleading: descriptions, photos, facilities, prices, availability and opening hours. Keep it up to date.
You must own, or have permission to use, every photo and text you upload. Prices must show the full amount a traveller will pay, including taxes and compulsory charges, and the currency.
Listings are checked before they go live and we may edit for format, decline or remove listings that break this agreement or the law.
13. Bookings
You must honour every confirmed booking at the price and on the terms shown when it was made. Your cancellation policy must be shown on your listing and applied fairly.
If you cannot provide a confirmed booking, tell the traveller and us immediately, and either provide an equivalent or better alternative the traveller accepts, or a full refund.
13. Fees and payments
Listing a business is free. Optional premium subscriptions and the commission on marketplace sales are charged at the rates shown in your Business Portal when you sign up for them; we will give you at least 30 days' notice of any increase.
Travellers pay through Zim Voyage's payment partners. Refunds due under your cancellation policy or the law are deducted from amounts payable to you. You are responsible for your own taxes, including VAT and tourism levies.
13. Guests' personal information
You may use the personal information of travellers you receive through Zim Voyage only to provide the booked service and as the law requires. Keep it secure, do not use it for unrelated marketing without consent, and comply with the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07].
13. Reviews
Travellers may review their experience. You must not write, buy or incentivise reviews of your own business or competitors, or pressure guests to change or remove a review. You may reply to reviews politely and factually.
13. Standards and conduct
You must hold and keep valid every licence, permit and insurance your business needs, follow health, safety and environmental laws, treat guests and staff fairly and without discrimination, and respect wildlife, heritage sites and local communities.
13. Licence to use your content
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to display, translate, adapt for different screens and promote it on Zim Voyage and in our marketing of Zimbabwe tourism while you are a partner, and for a reasonable time afterwards in materials already produced.
13. Suspension and ending the partnership
You can end this agreement at any time by closing your listings; bookings already confirmed must still be honoured.
We may end it with 30 days' notice, or suspend or remove you immediately for serious or repeated breaches, fraud, safety concerns, or loss of a required licence.
13. Liability
You are responsible for the services you provide and for claims arising from them, and you agree to compensate Zim Voyage for losses caused by your breach of this agreement or the law. Neither side is liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes
We may update this agreement. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of significant changes and ask you to accept the new version; if you do not accept, you may end the partnership before the changes take effect.
13. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction over any dispute.
