11. Who we are

Zim Voyage is an online tourism platform for Zimbabwe. We help people discover destinations, heritage sites and local businesses, plan trips, make bookings and purchases, and find emergency help. In these terms "we" and "us" means Zim Voyage and "you" means the person using it.

11. Your account

You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have a parent or guardian's permission. Students using learning features through a school do so under that school's supervision.

11. Using Zim Voyage

Do not use the site to break the law, mislead or harass anyone, post content you don't have the right to share, collect other people's data, interfere with the site's security or operation, or create fake accounts, bookings or reviews.

The SOS and emergency features are an extra help, not a replacement for the emergency services. Always contact the police, ambulance or fire services directly in an emergency.

11. Bookings and purchases

When you book or buy something from a business listed on Zim Voyage, your contract for that service or product is with that business. We arrange the booking and payment on its behalf. Prices, availability, inclusions and cancellation terms are set by the business and shown before you pay.

Payments are processed by our payment partners (such as Stripe and PayPal); we do not store your full card details. Refunds follow the business's cancellation terms and the law, including the Consumer Protection Act [Chapter 14:44].

11. Reviews and content you post

Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. You keep ownership of what you post, but you give us a free, worldwide licence to display it on Zim Voyage and in our promotion of Zimbabwe tourism. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

11. AI features

The concierge and trip planner use artificial intelligence. Their answers are generated automatically, can be wrong or out of date, and are not professional advice. Check important details - such as opening times, prices, visa rules and safety information - with the business or the relevant authority.

11. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep information accurate and the site available, but we cannot guarantee it is always complete, current or uninterrupted. Businesses are responsible for the services they provide. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for a business's acts or omissions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

11. Suspending or closing accounts

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other users at risk.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you by email or on the site before they take effect.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction over any dispute.
